hooray for procrastination...

16 down, 84 to go: The 100 Challenge

I have lots of reading and Spanish homework to do, but of course, I would rather not.

I've decided to be ambitious and save up [for the next ten years] to buy hoto&qid=1202701294&sr=1-4"this lens. What do you think? Does anyone else have any experience with this lens?

This weekend I went to Houston with Julia and we went to the races at Sam Houston. It was night and even with the floodlights the light was really bad, but I got a few good ones that will be uploaded shortly. Her mom is a photography enthusiast, so we were taking a bunch of pictures. Be sure to check out her gallery!

In other news, I finally had another jumping lesson last week. I'm still sore, but it was so good! Between Anchor's laziness and my confidence issues, we started out turning six-stride lines into eight-stride lines, but by the end we were doing seven strides and everything was regular and comfortable and I even got flying lead changes! I'm so proud of myself. Hopefully next week Julia will be done riding in time to take pictures of me, because I really want pictures of me riding...I don't think I've had any taken of me really riding since I had Ranger.

Which reminds me...I've decided I want a horse. I miss having Ranger. I see everyone with their horses, and that bond they have, that there's just the two of them and they get along really well, and I want that back. The problem? I'm a college student and we can barely afford my tuition as it is. Guess I'll have to get a high-paying job when I graduate so I can get a horse. All of you with horses -- you are so lucky, but then you should know that already. Give your ponies extra kisses next time you see them!
