Devious Journal Entry

Sun Feb 15, 2009, 3:08 PM
I haven't been taking very many photos lately. Thank you to everyone who has continued to watch me and fave my old work. I haven't had much new stuff lately because I haven't had a lot of opportunity to take pictures except snapshots with my friends. The good news is that I will be going to horse shows with ROCK this spring and I'm still going to visit my friend Julie up near Fort Worth sometimes, and I always get good pictures up there.

The bad news is, and it's long overdue, is that my beloved Shadow, my baby girl and my favorite non-horse model, had to be put down in December. It was unexpected and only a week before I flew home for Christmas break, so it was hard then and still emotional now. She's the dog featured in Feeling Good and Seven-Year Eyes, which to this day are still two of my favorite photos I took with my film camera. She was amazing, my first dog, and I miss her so much.

But overall life hasn't been too shabby lately. I'm just plugging along...

That's so sad about your dog :(
It's always heart breaking when a much loved animal dies, definitely hurts just as much as losing a family member or friend in my opinion. A lot of people would think that it's stupid to make that comparison but the greatest loss I've ever experienced is the loss of my horse and I've lost many family members as well.

Oh, if you want to be possessive, it's just "I-T-S", but if it's supposed to be a contraction, then it's "I-T-apostraphe-S"... scalawag: Strong Bad
